How open gta4 Closed

Hello,
i installed gta4 from the original disk and made all required registrations online.......but when click on play nothing happens even though i have inserted disk 1 into the  drive.........the game doesnt open at all....i have 4GB RAM,ATI raedon 4570(512 MB),core2 duo,windows seven.....
