i have win7,amd athlon64 4200+ ,nvidia 9400gt,and 3gb ram ,what shall I do to get rid fatal error resc10 in gta 4,please help

Try running gta iv in compatibility mode for either windows vista or xp, because originally the game isn't formatted to run on windows 7. this is how you run it in compatibility mode. right click on your gta iv or rgsc shortcut. then click properties. then click compatibility. there should be a drop-down box with run in compatibility mode. check the little box beside it, and choose either windows vista or xp. after that, try to run the game. if you still can't, open the game, but don't load it. check to see if your graphics settings are too high. if the game still doesn't work, check with rockstar games, or your computer manufacturer.
