Problem with WLM on Window 7

Hello,
I just bought a new SONY VAIO laptop with Windows 7 just the other day. Originally it came with Windows Live Messenger already installed on it. The problem is, after trying several times to sign in, it tells me that I need to update my version to the latest version. When i attempt to do so, it cuts off in the middle of the installment and doesn't let me continue. Also, sometimes it gives me an error message that I have an invalid IP address, even though I'm using the internet normally without any problems. Please if anyone can find me a solution to this problem, I'd be really thankful..

Hi there,

Remove the messenger from your system completely by using zapmessenger,then relaunch new version download and installation,download zapmessenger from link below:

http://ccm.net/telecharger/telecharger-3346-zapmessenger
