Hello,
i just install a n68-s motherboard with 2 g ram amd athlon x2 processor and i am get no sigal message
i have a ide hard drive with pre installed xp do i need to have a sata hard drive this mother board.

You need to re-install Windows on the hard drive. The existing copy of Windows may not work with the new hardware. Does the BIOS detect the hard drive?
