No sound after installing vista

Hello,
I had a tech uninstall Vista Home Edition, and installed Vista Ultimate. The dvd wont work and I lost contact with the tech. I don't know what to do. Please advise.

Dear Sir,

This is actually occuring due to the reality that the drivers are no more compatible to the system and will have to be updated in order to get them functioning properly. The solution to the problem being experienced is getting to the device manager and updating the drivers.
