Unable to log my compaq 510 with xp

Hello,
I have a compaq 510 with xp as window the problem I am facing is whenever i try to log on the screen appear as safe mode.....start windows normally whenever it starts after the time specified the blue screen appears and the whole windows again starts..it repeats automatically until i switched it off can someone please help me out as i fear it may to loose my data also..
