HELP with XP and 7 Closed

Hello,
I need help with installing xp over the currently installed windows 7 basic,I tried formatting but it doesn't allow me,I even tried installing xp over 7,but it just says that your current OS is a newer version than the one on disc

Well to start installing xp over windows 7 you need to enter bois setting and disable sata,link below from Faq will help you on this:
