Unable to complete disk check or format for

Hello,
any computer recognizes my fash disk, what is wrong with it is that when i attempt to open it, a message "this folder is empty" occures. i check its status in the troubleshooter which indicates that the divise is working proberly. when in plug it - it blinks and i managed to savely remove it through the savely remove icon. how could i solve the difficulty. i also attempted to correct it through disk check, but still i the disk check failes to complete the task. i even attemped to format it but still no way. what possibilities are there to solve such problems. thank you for your cooperation.
