WLM Help Can't Sign in Messenger :(

Hello,
I have been having problems signing into Windows Live Messenger(WLM) whenever i try to sign in it comes up saying "Your contact list is not available right now, please try again later" The Error code for this problem is as follows: 80072ee2, I have searched Google looking for solutions to this problem for MONTHS and cannot solve it. I am really missing it and need help solving this problem i will very much appreciate any help you can give. I even tried signing in on the hotmail website into the online messenger & that failed also.
