Compaq 6720s does not start (white screen)Closed

Question

Hello,
yesterday i shut down my laptop normally and today as i tried to turn it on following happened:

pushed ON button:
-LED (above power plug) blinked 6-7 times in orange then once in blue
-screen turned white (no text, no logo)
-fan started to blow
-did this about 5 sec
-then power shut down

i tried to turn it on without the battery, RAM-sticks and HDD - but the results were the same.

In the last year, I've done no modifications (neither soft- nor hardware).

laptop is 1,3 year old (warranty is just expired)

what can i do now to fix it?

Please check whether you need to get the graphic card replaced to get the problem fixed.

Thank you for your reply, ash_perez01!

However, there are two problems:

1) I think the graphic card on my lap top is built in to the motherboard.

2) Can a "broken" graphic card really cause the automatic power off of my lap top?

Still, thank you again for your advice.
