Transand pen drive not working

Hello,
my transcend 4 gb pen drivwe is detected by mypc with xp but giving msg insert disk in f drive, i tried by changing name & path also trying transcend online recovery but it is busy in detecting for long time & taking no action also i dont want to lose my data by formating pls suggest.

Dear Sir,

Please consider plugging it to another USB port to see whether it works properly.
