Need help wiht linsys router

Hello,

I suddenly lost internet capability on through my linksys wrt54g wireless router. I've had this router for about 4 years. My laptop is connecting with the router, just no internet. Looking for som help

need to know if all the lights are on, and if you are connecting wirelessly or by cable, if wireless, check settings in the control panel, it's possible vista has done an update that upset the settings, if cable go in to the router and check for connectivity.
