Need help with my laptop!

heyaa..
my laptop just isnt working!
its been dead for a few months now and&+ i have noo idea what to do about it!
ive tried the method of holding the laptop upside down etc..
but its still not working.
will buying a completely new battery help???
please helppp x

I doubt buying a new battery will fix the problem. Try removing the battery disconnecting it from the wall and then depressing the "on" switch for 30 seconds. Then replace the battery and connect it to the wall plug. This type of "hard reset" sometimes will wake-up a laptop.
