Ipod nano wont yurn on

Hello,
I HAVE NOT USED MY IPOD NANO 3RD GEN FOR SEVERAL YEARS. IT WILL TURN ON WHEN ITS ON THE ADAPTER. AND SHOWS FULL CHARGE BUT WILL NOT TURN ON OFF THE ADAPTER. ALSO TRIED TOGGLING THE RESET BUTTON AND PRESSING THE MENU AND CENTER BUTTONS FOR 30 SEC. AND IT STILL WONT TURN ON. CAN SOMEONE GIVE ME SOME OTHER SUGGESTIONS. THANKS,

Hello,
Try to reset it by doing this:
1 - Simultaneously press the top button + home (central) button.
2 - Keep both buttons until the Apple appears.
3 - Then release only the top button but still hold the home button pressed.
4 - The iPod goes into recovery mode and then you can restore it via iTunes
Edit:We are not blind to the point of not seeing your message, please use normal characters the next time!

i had this problem too.... the problem is that the battery is gone. you need another one
