Hello,
I am computer illeterate. I am trying to tell my computer that it is okay for others to borrow my internet connection from their computer. For example: my son has a laptop and he wants to sign on. So he looks for a connection in the local area to log on.
I want to tell my computer that its okay for him to use my connection.
How do I do that?
I use windows XP

I assume you don't have a wireless router so that all can use the internet at the same time. That is the best option. If you have a wired broadband connection to your computer and a wireless adapter you can set it to share the internet connection via wireless. But, it may be beyond your capabilities to set it up. What is your hardware and LAN setup?
