Most likely a hardware problem. Such a quick shutdown indicates that the BIOS can not complete its initial POST routines. I would try removing one of the memory modules and try it again. You can try with each module if you have two installed. Beyond that simple test there is little the user can do. I would take it to a repair shop for a diagnostic check.
