Some dvds are not being palyed on my laptop

Hello,
Some dvds are shown to be empty as they are not while most of the dvds are easily played and i am using pioneer DVD-RW DVR-K16RS kindly tell me the solution

Can you play those 'un-playable' dvd's onto other DVD player? If not, probably those DVD has already corrupted.
