Hello,

My mom's computer was attacked by trojan's. She did not have any virus software installed. I was able to access the internet and I download the free version of AVG software. This located the trojans, but now I cannot access the internet through IE.

I am a totally inept when it comes to these issues, so if you can help, please assume that I am stupid!

Hello,

Well you were smart enough to contact this forum!

I assume that you can open IE. Have you checked to see, by clicking on tools, if it says off connection?
If such is the case, turn on the connection.

No matter the result, please reply as there may be some remnants of those trojans lurking around.
