Acer Ferrari 3400 internet connection problem

Hello,

I have just installed XP on Acer Ferrari 3400. All the drivers seem to be working well because I dont have that yellow question mark. However, I cannot get internet and if I put the internet cable the lights are not working to show activity at the connection. Please help.

Hi there,

You might have installed wrong driver version,use link below and enter model of laptop and choose by os and get the driver :

https://www.acer.com/drivers/selection.html

Thank you I updated the LAN drivers and also tried to update the modem with the drivers from the Acer website. Funny that the modem driver does not fully install, could this be the reason why the lights on the internet cable connection point does not work? Or its LAN driver problem? Where else can I get these drivers?

the LAN driver is Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet and it seems to be working properly but no lights on the internet cable connection point and no internet connectivity. Could there be another problem besides the LAN driver?
