Hello,
Please, reboot your computer in safe mode by taping on F8. You should then see your icons reappear all by magic.
If you think you have a virus, it is time for you to do a FULL scan with you antivirus programme.
Should you require further help, please come back.
Best regards

Hello,
From your response I understand that you restarted in safe mode but you can't see your icons.
Please tell me, in normal mode do you have a Start button?
In safe mode, do you have a start button?
You answer will determine the next steps.
Thank you

Sananuj,
Mikethedike may be correct, but before you repair Windows, if you have a start button and can access "Run"
In the run window please to make your desktop reappear:
Click on the Start button and then click on the Run menu item. When the Run box opens, type %UserProfile%\desktop in the Open: field and then press Enter on your keyboard.
Should you not have access to Explorer (click right on Start, left on Explorer), then Mijethedike's solution would need to be seriously be considered.
Best regards

Hello,
If you could only be able to get into DOS to try to get your system to read your CD on reboot, if only we could access the command function ot go into safe mode to boot as DOS. You say that none are possible.
I am terribly sorry, I have no other solutions and I must resign from this thread.
Good luck anyway.
Best regards
