I have seen the earlier questions and answers regarding the connection and tried to do something similar.

I have a PC (WIN-XP-PRO) and a Laptop (WIN-XP-HOME). In the PC I have an inbuilt lan card and an external lan card. I connected internet (broadband) to the inbuilt lan. I then configured the external lan connection with ip (192.168.0.1) and subnet mask. In the laptop I configured the lan connection with ip (192.168.0.2), subnet mask, default gateway (192.168.0.1) and DNS (192.168.0.1).

I am not able to access internet from the laptop. Also, I am not able to see the other computer (and folders) from the firt and vice-versa.

Please suggest a way forward.
