Hello,
i had sent a email to a friend and after sending the message came that the mail has been sent but he says that he has deleted his account . so has his mail really been deleted?

depends. Some system would purge email id immediately and any email send to that email address would bounce back. Some keep it for a short time and some never delete it just inactivate it.
