How to ununstall software in Windows 7?

Hello,

I have installed windows 7, and installed some other soaftwar as well, but there are some additional toolbars and other unwanted programs that I wanted to uninstall them,
I tried many times to do but cannot, any solution pls?

have u tired going to the control panel and clicking add/remove program?
