Problem with dvd / cd rom

Hello,
my dvd /cd rom cant read any cd but can read dvds. please give me suggetion

first of all u open cd/dvd drive from your desktop compuer and use cd dvd lens cleaner chemical put it more than 1 minute on cd/dvd lensafter rhat u put ur cd/dvd rom on ur computer (more details call 9199532342)

actully my cd/dvd rom icon disappeared from the my computer. i tried to get it back from net but it faled!! So what should i do now?? please help me

Friend, your power supply wire attached to cd-rom will be loose. so check it and fix it. because when cd-rom not get electricity then the icon from "my computer" get disapppear.
