Internet Explorer 7 problems

Hello,
When I click the IE icon, the "open with" window opens and ask me which program I want to open it with.
This happens when I do word documents or download a new update. Any ideas to why this keep happening?

maybe the default of your right click is "open with".try to right click and choose open, maybe that's the trick. and have with you an antivirus updated.
