Hello. I have Windows 7 Ultimate on all of my computers, but I have a problem. I have one (1) computer on my network that is still XP. I use it as a backup/server for my network. All of my settings are set correctly, and I have set my network style to Work. I made a workgroup called SPICCOLIS, and it used to work fine, but it doesn't work all the time. What could be the problem? All answers appreciated! Thanks!

I solved this by unchecking the IPv6 protocol in the TCPIP properties tab, under the Adapter Advanced Settings. Make sure to leave the IPv4 protocol checked.

You can access the Adapter settings from the left side of the Network & Sharing Center control panel. Click Manage Network Connections, and then right-click on the network adapter, and click Properties.
