Dell inspiron 1545 won't detect

I'm having a problem, my Dell inspiron 1545 has just been reinstalled and I downloaded all the utilities and drivers needed for the laptop after reinstalling and I recently found my wireless router which works fine but my laptop won't detect the wireless connection, I used my iPhone and it detected it, I have a feeling I'm missing a driver or my wireless router is just weird, any suggestion
