No Audio Output Device Is Installed ? ? ?

I have a HP Pavilion dv6500 Notebook PC by Hewlett-Packard with Windows 7. I have a red X through the sound icon on my tool bar, and in my Device Manager I'm missing my Sound section. There is no sound info where there needs to be.

There is no sound coming out of my laptop. And i need it quick.

Does anyone know how to resolve this annoying problem?

Hi there,

Open run and type,msconfig.msc,on the general tab select normal startup ,press on apply and restart,if same issue download driver from official Hp website and install.
