Noaudio on my laptop

Ive no audio on my comouter as i accidently deleted (conexant audio) form my HP Pavilion dv5000 laptop.Ive already tried to manage devices,got the correct download but then the cumputer says: " Conexant AC link audio does not pass windows logo testing compatibility with winows xp" what do i do....thanks!
