Out of memory problem error in nokia 7210 supernova

hello sir,my nokia 7210 supernova is showing out of memory,error while opening some files. So please help me to solve this problem.

Dear Sir,

There should be some applications open, please close them down by pressing the Menu button until you have the list of the open applications and then press C while selecting one by one.

thank you for your reply.
unfortunately, this is a series 40 device and so no task manager here :(
Any other suggestions??
