Wireless

Hello,
I have a wireless router in my home and it has been working fine, untill yesterday when i was trying to run a lan line from my xbox to computer to get on xbox live. I know that i turned something off. what would it be, because it says its connected and full singal but it doesnt have the globe thing around the wireless connection on the toolbar anymore. do u know what this might be. thanks
