Sound problem

Hello,
There is a problem with my sound driver. Once i plug out my earpiece from my laptop, i cannot hear any sounds any more unless i plug in the earlpiece again. Even if my music player is running well, no sounds comes out of my laptop speaker. I really need help in this. Can anyone tell me what to do?

in most cases the problem lies with your sound drivers, the best thing to do is to look for sound drivers that will be supported by your operating system or you can install the operating system that has already has build in drivers
