asus u50a charge problem Closed

ive gotten a asus u50a like 2~3month ago.. 

my sister borrowed my laptop for few weeks.. 

after that i cant turn the power on without power supply.... 

it shows the green light when i plug the power supply

Hi there, 

Remove the battery and wait for few minutes,then reset,start machine and get in device manager and uninstall Acpi for battery.

i have the same problem, today i use my laptop, and 2 hrs ago they say, my battery is in problem.... :S i need help

its the acpi bs with win7. my u50a has been just fine for over two years , battery life has never been great , but now when i unplug it , i have about 40 minutes till shutdown. tells me my battery should be replaced. its  a common problem . how about some asus updated acpi drivers?
