My hp compaq nc6000 sound dont work

my laptop dont want to sound, i dont know why, the volume control not there, when i go to sounds n speech, when i went to volume it says no audio deice n i cant put volume up or down

Dear Lobo,

It might be that there is no sound driver on it. Please confirm it by getting to the Device Manager and hence get it installed.
