no sound Closed

Question

hey. i'm havin this problem where if i use headphones with my laptop i hear sound, and the moment i unplug the headphone its tellin me there are no audio output devices enabled. i tried reinstalling the driver but that didnt work. in the system properties there is only the headphone icon available. 

Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 6.0

Dear Fabian, 

Please consider getting to the device manager and see whether the sound driver updated. Also provide more details about its configuration in order for us to be able to indicate from where you can download the right compatible driver if ever it is missing.
