Hi I have dell inspiron model 1545 . Its not even a year that it has started giving problem . Has anyone come accross this issue of not booting up . Either with battery or without battery . At certain times when it is switched on it gives a black screen and 8 beeps and then power has to be turned off for the beep to end.

Hi there,

This is a hardware issue,you will be required to get the motherboard checked by an electronic technician and as per his advise either get it repaired or changed.

I've got a dell inspiron too but i have not found any problems with it at the moment and i have had it nearly a year and its working fine and good. but the other thing is i have to get a pack to put under it to keep it cooler when im on the games
