Hello,

Everytime I try to start Firefox and get browsing the Internet it always gives me the following message:
Quote:
“The connection has timed out

The server at en-us.start2.mozilla.com is taking too long to respond.

* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.

* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.

* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.”
It's been doing it for every site I try to get to on with Firefox. I also use Opera and IE and they both work fine but I can’t get anything with Firefox…

Any idea why this would happen?

Regards,

Hello,

I assume you are using Windows and a recent version of Firefox.

Check the settings in Tools - Options - Advanced - Network - Parameters...

is Direct Internet connection selected?

Dal, I am on Windows Vista. I get this Connection Timed Out message for only sites that when I click in them, try to connect to global1.onlinebanking.com. I checked what you said about the Direct Interconnection, but it was alreacy checked, so can't be my problem. Any ideas?
