You can put 1 GB of memory and a faster (5400rpm) larger hard drive (80-120 GB) into your laptop that will speed it up some. The biggest improvement in speed would come from a re-install of Windows.
The video chip is on the motherboard and can't be changed.
You can speed it up by downloading a free program - Advanced WindowsCare V2 from www.iobit.com Load the program and let it clean out your system.
