Question

Closed case with something in the way and the sceen cracked.  Since I can't see anything I can't get the display to go to an external monitor.  I tried Fn F5  because I thought that is what works with Acer's but no luck.  Any thoughts?
Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 8.0

Hi, I have an acer that did the same thing, and I am running an external monitor. You have to shut your computer down by the power button, attach the external monitor, and when you are asked which form of windows you want to use, you can ONLY run in safe mode with networking. You will not be able to save any type of MS office documents. But, you will be able to access the internet.
