Guy's, GTA IV will not run well on anything less than an Intel Pentium D, because of the Cache size being too low. To Run it you would need at Least: For Low Graphics, No Lag: - Intel Pentium D 3.20GHz / Intel Core Duo (Not Core 2 Duo, This came out Later) - 3GB DDR2 667MHz Ram. Slower Ram (ie. DDR 333 will reduce performance) - You NEED Windows XP Service Pack 3 or Vista Service Pack 1. Don't use Service Pack Mods, you wont get the fixes that the game needs. - At Least an NVIDIA GEFORCE 8800GT 512Mb or ATI Radeon HD 3650 512Mb For High Graphics, Maybe a Little Lag: - Intel Core 2 Extreme 3.0GHz / Intel Core i7 - 4GB DDR2 800MHz Ram (x86) or 8GB DDR2 800MHz Ram (x64) - Windows 7 RTM. GTA IV is NOT Supported in Beta/RC Versions of 7. - NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX260 896Mb or ATI Radeon HD 4890 X2 (2x1GB) For Single PCI-E Slot Motherboards, 1 Radeon HD 4890 is fine. Just Remember, Its Not all about The CPU Clock Speed or Graphics Card Memory Amount. You have to look at Cache Size, Front Side Bus Speed, GPU Clock, VRAM Clock and all that sort of stuff. Basically, if you want to run a new game really well, you need new hardware, not Hardware 6 or 12 months old. For Those Posting Specifications in the Future, This Template should help you get them Right. As you should be able to tell, it will not Run GTA IV very well due to the Old Processor and Low End Graphics Card. A Program called "Everest Home Edition" will tell you all of these details. You could play on max with core2quad (with 6mb cash no less) 4gb ddr3(not ddr2) 8600GT or better(with 2gb no less) hdd sata (with 8mb no less)!(some lags on pirated still) But better corei7 with the same configuration for maximum on pirated version of game!

Plenty of HDD space

game works well bt after a while the camera starts shaking like hell

Razor crack works well on pirated version of game,soon price will fall from 50 to 5$(after final crack,which in fact will be new exe compiled module) so you could buy it legally, but remember r*,if you wish to finish pirating,you should first calculate price of your game to your head month salary(income) in percents 0,00000000001% LOL,so you could sell others your game in the same rate! then pirating will be finished!

hy.y have a problem when y try to install gta 4,after that is about half of install it need "data3.cab".y have the recomanded part in my computer.....but y can't install....:(can u say why?

OK for some ppl
GTA 4 can played on x64 windows xp with service pack 2
game accalators dont make games faster is BS
if all settings are low u need only 655mb ram (but for low cpu,s 3GB rec)
if you have the game more edited u can run the game on a P4 HT 3.0Ghz
but u need the AH silens 3560 512MB best agp card there is
a PSU of 500W
and u will get in the most filled 3D area 30fps and in house like 66fps

i just want to know gta 4 requirements I have the following confi i.e
AMD Athlon 64 Pro 3000+
1.80GHz, 1.00gb of RAM
9400GT (1GB) graphic card Nvidia
but the problem is graphics are lil slow and missin texture...
if u have any good suggestion which I have left for gta 4 pls help me to run the game.

first , u need to buy a dual core 2.66Ghz processor or higher . then , upgrade your Ram to 2GB . it will make ur gameplay smoother . and ATI Graphics Card is better than Nvidia .
better to have Windows XP SP3 .

heyy if someone can help me because I don't know why gta 4 isin't working on my pc.... the game is very slow I can't play it and if I put the graphics all very hight the game will run in 24 frams/s and if I put the lowest graphics it runs in 26 frams/s... I have intel core 2 duo 2.0 - RAM : 2gb ddr2 - vga: ati radeon hd 4850 1gb ddr3 and windows xp service pack 3.
so everyhting is above the requirements and I don't know what is the matter with this game on my pc if someone has this problem or know how to solve it... !!! thxx

Hello guys I just bought Grand Theft Auto IV from the general store and I installed it and everything went smoothly
and then it gave me a fatal error DD3D30 I called EB games the shop I bought it from they said the problems could be my graphics card my processor or my operating system but I have tried alot of things.Will I be able to play Grand Theft Auto IV with this syetem

hey man its your ram and graphics card buy another 1 gig ram and buy a graphics card ect geforce 7900gt and over the card must be at list 512mb big
