Roommate has router

Hello,

So I am renting the basement apartment from someone. I have internet access ( I plug into the wall), and my roommate has the modem and a router in her room on the 3rd floor. I was wondering if I could set up my own seperate wireless connection without having to touch her stuff (i.e router, modem).

Much help will be appreciated

You can add a second wireless router - But, there can be problems getting the details right. I suggest you read the info at this site:
