What you could do is install AVG9 Free and Malwarebytes from https://ccm.net/downloads/ and run the scans.
Try opening in safemode with networking F8 on start of windows
Make sure you have completly uninstalled Norton Check in Program Files in Local Disk
Anything named Symantec is part of Norton.
You can also go to computer Local disk right click hit properties open tools and check now tick automaticly check system errors select yes in message turn off computer restart
