VGA to TV cant get full ResolutionClosed

Question

Hello peoples,

My problem is that I have connected my Laptop to my TV via the VGA Port, but I cant get the resolution to extend on the TV. Its a 50" LCD Sony, but its only showing around 30 something inches. 

I have turned the display up on the Laptop, but when I try to set it to 1600x1200 for the TV it says Unsupported Signal Check PC Output and goes blank. 

Is it even possible to make it 50" with VGA cables or do I have to get a Laptop with DVI or HDMI ports ?

Hi there,

Change the resolution from your pc laptop first ,then use remote control and press on menu and configure it for the tv display resolution.
