Internet Explorer will not shut off.

Hello,
When I am on the internet, when I am done and click the red X in the upper right hand corner, nothing happens - why can't I just sign out of the net when I want to, instead of shutting the power buttons and power everything off?

Hi there,

Please give more information,you mean you want to disconnect from internet?You are using wired or wireless connection?
