My laptop lost its sound, any solution?

hi a few days ago i left my laptop on downloading a movie and i slept when i woke up in the morning the laptop was making some noise i thought restarting may fix it, i restarted the laptop and after that it dont sounds at all, any help please

i tried everything, all volume controls are fine not mute, uninstalled my sound driver many times and it got detected again automatically, there is no update for the driver or bios available which means they are upto date but still my laptop does not sounds, please help

Interesting problem...


Try this:

Go to Start>Run

Type in 'services.msc'

Scroll down to Windows Audio and make sure the service is started, if it isn't, start the service.

try a driver roll back by going to device manager and right clicking ur device...

it really feels bad when you download 6 latest movies to watch at a spare time and when you get time to watch the movies the laptop does not sounds at all, :P
