I don't wanna format my hard disk!!!

Hello,





Omggggggggggg!!! Please help me someone!!! I was organizing my hard disk and I shifted Gossip Girl to the hard disk and moved some pictures here and there. And then I moved the WD Sync and all of that stuff in one folder on the hard disk and I think that that caused the hard disk to act up!! Please please help me 'cuz I can't enter the hard disk unless I format it and I can't 'cuz I have really important documents in that hard disk!!!!!!!! How do I solve thissss!?!? Pleaseeeeee helpppppppp!

try live booting using "ubuntu" CD. you can use ubuntu with out installing it. after live boot, copy all important datas to any external storage device and format.

Ubuntu live on a flash drive - run it from there and it will act as on operating system without needing to be installed on your hard drive.

As stated, backup what you can whilst running from your flsh drive and then reinstall your operating system imo.
