unable to install itunes and quicktime Closed

Question

Hello, 
I am unable to install itunes and quicktime on my Dell XPS 1530 laptop, running Windows Vista 32 Bit. It keeps stopping when it gets to the Publishing product information phase. Then it rolls the install back after about 10 minutes and tries to install again.
Can anyone give any advise on how to solve this problem.

Configuration: Windows Vista / Firefox 3.6.3
