The speakers wont work on my laptop Closed

Hello,  
I cant get my speakers to work unless I plug head phones in the mic then the regular speakers will work. Headphone jacks work fine. I have a Hp pavilion 


Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 8.0

Dear Jules, 

Please check whether the sound driver updated. Otherwise, it might be that the system is corupted or there may be some missing files on it so consider repairing your system.
