ASUS Laptop turns off immediately

My ASUS eee Laptop turns off immediately after the AC charger is unplugged. I checked the battery power and it is full. The laptop only turns on when it is plugged in and charging.
I bought a new charger recently and it still does the same thing.

Hi there,

Instead of charger you should have changed the battery,take it to the shop and try a new battery before purchasing it.
