Hello,
i have compaq c300 laptop which is refusing to boot under all modes (safe mode, last known good configuration etc). when i tried to boot from a windows bootable file, it says 'no hard disk found or hard disk not properly connected'. i removed the hard disk and fixed it again after cleaning but solved no purpose. Also my BIOS diagnostic feature is able to check my hard disk and giving it a 'Pass' status.
However when i ran 'partition magic' programme, it is reading my hard disk folders. i also succeded in deleting some of the useless files from my hard disk.Kindly suggest some remedial measures as soon as possbile. I will be thankful to you as i am stuck at some furlong place with no techsupport facility possible and i require my laptop serviceable desperately. Bye.
